Autumnal Reminiscence by Dasha Korol

My favourite thing about the fell season

is how quieter the world seems. You step outside to feel the crisp air. With twinge of the sun trying to let the rays reach of warmth. It’s the beginning of hibernating into our homes to enjoy the upcoming holidays, or brutal cold. The leaves dipped m refined golds, red. Orange colours that remind you of Royal silks or an age of antiquity. Autumn is a feeling of going into the past, as you sit and sip your pumpkin spice, everything. A sitting on the front porch, blanket wrapped, with a good read, or holding hands of loved ones. The travel of Smokey Mountains, overlooking valleys of blue and smouldering peeks, wondering if the very creation of the beauty. Realizing how thankful your eyes won't fell for you to see.

My favourite is how autumn holds your breath for a minute, a moment of such grace. Autumn is a turning point, maybe slowing down, sitting around smouldering campfire one last time. Jumping m piles of leaves or cursing the work to be done.

Each moment is fall it brings solace this indescribable silence just for a season. The bold beautiful mural... Autumn.

My favourite thing about fell is the colour and smell of leaves as they swirl around me in the crisp autumn air. The way the leaves change colours and dance with the cool air as they fall. I love the fell colours are not just on trees but blanket the forest floor with reds and yellows. The smell of wet soil from the rains.

The biting chill in the air, so I can enjoy bundling up. The smell of wood smoke, the brilliant glowing trees, wresting with my dog in piles of leaves, and anticipating the holidays.

Finally, the best thing about autumn is buying baked chestnuts and sweet potatoes from street vendors. It brings me so much joy and pleasure, reminding how cool it was being a child.

The way it always smells is the best scent, as if the world is about to change.
