Why Can't my Willow See by Evelyn Shults

My willow, don't u see,

The sky is falling on the sea,

I hear it's creaking, breaking, tear

Shuttering till all is sealed.

Your trank is still, and branche unmoving,

but flutter leaves in every side,

like eyes sensing movement.

Grounded the roots and it hurts pulling out.

Why help the sea when your mind is spaced out.

The sea have died in silence,

And soaked through the ground,

So you could taste, how your passiveness felt.

Why have the leaves if you don't want to see,

Why willow why, what out there so scary to see.
