Lights and Colors by Ulyana Tereshchenko

I came in and looked around. Light and darkness were sharing this place equally.
Opalescent, psychedelic rays were cutting the hall full of dark dancing figures, violet and electric blue spots were moving on the wall with the rhythm of the music, they were rushing from side to side leaving the corners dark. I felt like I fared in the bubble full of sound and light merged together.
Fluorescent beam was moving along the perimeter, one by one illuminating faces and figures. Silver, green, pink  - I could see all existing colors wrapped around dancing bodies. The whole club was moving and pulsating, playing with ablaze lines and figures. I looked at the wall and saw dancing shadows formed with colorful contours. I raised my hand and waved it. Silhouette on the wall copied my movement and cut a path through the violet ray.
The club had no ceiling and no floor, the walls were growing and fading into the dark. Colors were changing and the light was flickering so fast that everything looked like a quickly changing picture showing a new motion every time. At first I found this lightning disturbing but now I got used to it and felt comfortable here, where you can do anything you like without fear to be noticed. I can hide in the corner if I want to or I can show my true self under the blinking light. Here, under the fluorescent rays everything looks bizarre, so no one will notice if I do something bizarre too.
