Almost every subject in school was too complicated for her and it was struggle to get at least appropriate grades. The only subject she could understand was biology. Therefore, she studied it as hard as she could and thought of becoming a psychologist until one day when she got to see a fashion show. She gazed at elegant figures of models and instantly wanted to become one of them. They wore beautiful gowns and costumes, had perfect hair and skin and they were stunning. The only thing Nika was confident in herself was her appearance. So, she decided to dedicate her life to modeling, although she didn’t give up on her idea to get into university to study psychology.
That’s how she spent her life from 15 to 18 years old. She tried to stand out as a model but continuously failed on castings, so her only hope on bright future was psychology major in university.
So, school ended and all the documents she had to apply she did apply... But didn’t get anywhere. On that day, she thought she was incapable of anything useful in the world and she would never succeed in life. However, two days later she got a call from Max, the victim, who hired her to do a series of photo-sessions.
She decided that she should grab this opportunity to make at least one of her dreams come true. She still was upset but hoped that this work would bring her self-confidence back to her.
And then she met him in person. He was a very handsome man with amazing smile and kind eyes. Before that meeting she wanted to stick to this photographer to fill a portfolio, however now she acquired another reason to stick to him. After the first session she came home and found out everything she could about Max. She analyzed his Instagram to figure out which cafes and restaurants he likes, which studios he works in, what else he likes doing... She got obsessed like a number one fan.
After the second session she tried to make as many “sudden” encounters as possible – simply stalked Max. That’s how she knew he had a girlfriend. Obviously, she was very upset. She even had an idea to quit modeling but then understood how foolish it would be. Nika decided that nobody said it is forbidden to love somebody who is already in relationship and went on stalking Max and becoming his friend.
So, this year she spent following Max and participating in his photo-shoots. He was telling her that she became a stunning model and good friend of his. However, he remained with his girlfriend. And Nika still was into him and hoped that he would look at her in the way she looked at him. On the day of his death, he and Nika had a session called “Dangerous woman”. It was Max’s art project for some huge photography contest. The idea of it was a girl who looked innocent and pure with different weapons like knifes, guns, even scissors (because in the hands of a mad person they can also become dangerous). Sharps were everywhere in his apartment that day and their photo-shoot was great. That day Nika had to be almost naked (that was a part of creative idea) and play a devil in angels’ skin. They worked for 3 or 4 hours before it became too late and dark outside. Maybe because of their interaction, or maybe because there was no sign of Max’s girlfriend in his apartment, Nika felt very happy. She went home, hoping to see Max tomorrow, but on the next day, she was informed that he was murdered.
