Peter Jones was honoured
to receive one of the most prestigious award in literature for his first book- “Don't blink”. After being interviewed, he told us that the person that inspired him to transform all of his sketches and previous work into a book is his girlfriend.
What??? When I heard this, I almost chocked on my chocolate bar.
Why him? I was the one that always pushed him to do this, because I knew he had the talent. I was the one who read his little pieces before going to lunch and would give him my feedback over lunch.I was the supportive one. I encouraged him, but he always told me that he's too scared. So I was the one that had to deal with his problems, but his new girlfriend will shine in the hall of fame as the example of a perfect lovable woman, type of woman that makes that man want to be the best possible man he could ever be.
News!!! The honoured winner of the prize for his novel is accused of fraud. It appears, that idea of the plot belongs to a student from Webster University.
This time I tripped on my cat and thankfully I have a huge couch on which I can fall. Well, well, well. So the fate is finally on my side. I'm not the looser ex-girlfriend anymore. Guess the only thing she can inspire him to do is to copy someone else's work. I guess she literally pushed him to write a book, not encouraged him. But what now? Will he ever have the courage to write his own? He was scared enough before his reputation was ruined. Now his name is disgraced. Would any publisher agree to accept his work after this scandal.... He needs moral support, because I know how fragile and unstable he can be.
They meet and realize that he needs her. We were a team...There is only one type of woman in this world who is worth chasing and that's a woman who makes you believe you're capable of making your own dreams come true.
