I teach the course "Scientific Letter" at the university.
This is really important information, so keep it on your mind. Once in a bar, I met an interesting young man. We talked about literature and especially modern novels. He saw a folder of paper that was sticking out of my bag. The young man asked me: "Is it a new novel?". I laughed and said that it was just drafts. He asked to study them and promised to return them soon. I gave him drafts and after that we did not see each other for about a year. Honestly, I just forgot about all this.
There was news on the TV. Lizzie talked about some brilliant novel and asked me to see the news. How surprised I was when I saw that very young man there! He wrote a novel and became famous. When I heard the name of the book, I was even more surprised. It was the working title of those drafts that I gave to him. The boy just extradite a novel like his own book and won fame! After realizing, I laughed. I really was laughing for a long time. I called to a journalist and told him something interesting.
A week later in the news was information about an incredible scandal around the famous literary prize. It turned out that the author of the novel who received the award was a plagiarist. He took one of the little-known novels of Stanislaw Lem, paraphrased it and just changed the names of the characters and the names of the localities. Critics just did not notice plagiarism.
In honor of this news , I opened the best bottle of wine. Who would have known that these drafts just my personal experiment, an example for my students of the ideal plagiarism. Therefore, I gave him this without any regret.
