The Explosion Occurred Accidentally… by Anfisa Doroshenko

I took a liking to her at the first sight.
The eyes of the stranger lightened as well as the atmosphere around her. She spoke loudly enough to get attention, but did not look at me, not once. Everything that left to me was to drink the glass up and give her one more gaze. I never thought it was so easy for a man in his fifties to become a lad (with a baggage of stupidities and fantasies a fool can only dream of) just because of a beauty of the woman, just in a flash. Sadly, that what had happened to me. She had a companion and looked at him with meekness and humility, but I thought she was pretending. The dimness of light in the bar did not prevent me from looking at God’s own creation and infuriate because of jealousy.
I left the bar. The cobblestone seemed to be dancing; my legs shuffled and even trembled. The glasses of whiskey and the beauty of a stranger did the trick. Suddenly, a puff of the smoke came from the bar. My ears were ringing. Later, I found that the explosion itself was not heard because of the signal of the machine, I nearly got hit by. The splinter got stuck in the waist, the legs cramped. But instead of thinking about myself, I thought about her. Regret and fear took possession of me. Suddenly, the shadow shuddered at the black entrance to the bar. The stranger who stole my heart sat down in a car, prepared in advance, and disappeared in the mist and smoke.
I the morning I found out that during the explosion a man, who was repeatedly accused of committing offenses, the criminal in the past and the villain of our age has died. Other people in the bar, however, have pulled through. It was believed that the explosion occurred accidentally and only the daredevils said that one of that man’s victims took revenge on the monster. I did remember features of victim-avenger, but did not go to the police.
