The room was enormous,
and you usually feel safe and comfortable because of the light wallpapers and friendly atmosphere. Except for today, when this huge space is the mess and oppressive for anyone who decides to visit it. The night is already here, and the big full moon is glancing in the window, prevents Ann to fall asleep. She is trying to think so, but she knows the truth about what exactly is the problem. The girl turns over from side to side, watching more and more stupid videos and photos. She feels how her hands become wet, and the mind is full of irritating and harrowing thoughts. She is waiting. She is expecting to everything will be all right, but she already can guess the reaction.
Ann gets up and goes to the kitchen, to drink a glass of water. Water is her only friend in any situation, she drinks a lot of it to feel better and not that exhausted of her own consciousness. The quiet sound is coming from the room. She was waiting for this moment. She quickly puts her glass on the table and runs to her phone. But how frustrated she is now. It is only the notification of the new video. She knows that in some hours or even minutes she will wish the ground would swallow her up. How can she even didn’t tell her? Last night her manager told that he would fire her best friend Maria. He also said he would do it right after the presentation of the new product, which Maria created. It should be a painful moment. Moreover, Ann couldn’t go today to this presentation, because she has the flu with the abnormal temperature.
She comes back to the kitchen. She sits on the floor as she always does, and calls her boyfriend - the only person who always is on her side. She called him 5 times, and only on the 6 one, he answers her with the attentive but a little irritating greeting. He listens carefully to her problem, doesn't say a word that she is a bad person, and asks her to go to sleep because it is late and she is ill.
Ann heeds the advice and falls asleep on the kitchen floor. She gets up nervous and crying in half an hour. She understood why her lovely man was so irritated but tried not to show it. He is in another country at an important meeting, and of course, they have a time difference. She closes her eyes with her hands and loudly breathes. It is the second person in one day. Ann gets to the door, closes it and goes to bed, demoralized and tired of being the odd one out and not such a good girl for every important person in her life. She is ready to work with it, but all she can now is not to see anyone and tries not to die inside more than she has done today.
