Welcome to the Limb by R. A.

I woke up in the woods. 

What kind of place is this?  A guy hung over me.  I managed to note very good.  His curly black hair and blue eyes attracted me.  Who is he?  It seemed to me that he was an angel.  What is he doing here?  And the most important question is what am I doing here?

-  I'm Adam. Don't worry, don't be afraid. 

- Am I dead?

  - You can say so, but not to the end?

  - So?  Where am I?  In paradise?  In hell?

  - You're in Limb. 

  - Where?

  - A place where there are souls who have unfinished business for life.  It's hard, but soon you're all useful.

  - And how do I get out of here?

  - You will not get out until you find what has bothered you throughout your life.

  - But I'm not worried about anything!

  - It seems to you that something has worried you in your life.

  - Well, what were the monsters that attacked me?

  - They were soul-eaters, they can destroy clues.  They kill you, and an hour later you reappear in Limb, but without a hint.  In addition, you'll be getting rid of clutter you don't need.  It's as if your life started from scratch, each time without a small but important piece.

He kept talking, and I couldn't take my eyes off his beautiful face.  I didn't feel confused, not with him.  He gave me confidence I wanted him to do nothing but talk.

  - What are the tips?

  - You can find them in your dreams, or rather in one.  Every time you close your eyes, you will have only one dream.  This is your tip.

  - How long have you been here?

  - In Limb, time is different, but I have been here for more than 54 years.

  - And you still have not found what bothered you in your life?

 - I think I just found it.
