From the Collection of Love and Loathing by Alyana Beresowska

- What is the purpose in being “adequate” in the society,

where the chaos still prevails over sensibility? Who said you that a tricksy, high-stepping man. Wearing a so-called “women’s garment" is definitely a puzzle-headed pervert9 Perhaps, it is you. Who got stocked in the illusory virtue, are the freakish bastards that till now pin faith to the “black-and-white” divided world, denying other spectral colours. "It's the absence of colour. In the spectrum of colours, you go from black, which is no colour, all the way through to white, which is every colour", - is not that true? Our own ridiculous understanding of the degree of order pursues us like the prey, which falls apart at the touch of a good sense, bringing to mind Sisyphean labour.

- You cannot neglect people’s self-devotion and mercy at all. "Love thy neighbour as thyself” That is true that we have got a lack of it. Though it still gives hope for future changes. "Faith can move mountains ”.

- Everyone turns the talk to the religion, when it touches on the question of human weakness. Are you sure about the rectitude of their motives and a strong wish to help you? The only certainty is that people find it more appealing to compassionate one's sufferings rather than enjoy your success. We are too animal to disagree with this statement yet.

- You look down on others, as you have got impoverished mind; those, who have entirely comprehended the life, temper justice with mercy. You are unfair, therefore one-sided. Actually, you are one of us, no more or less than any other, though you barricade yourself behind the reflections about your uniqueness. You are mistaken; you are not that much more than a lone sprout, surrounded by centuries old forest, where every single living being knows its place and task. We do not want the likes of you around here - you are a kind of parasite, a dangerous bloodsucker, society should get rid of. in order to avoid the spread of disease.

- Nevertheless, one day it may happen that the wood will be cut down or set on fire; consequently, there will be no tree after that at all. Even the strongest may fall dead on the ground; the whole vegetable reign of that parcel of land will be forgotten -except a couple of botanists, no one will be in anguish at this yet another loss. But on the other hand almost everyone will give a try to bring to life and breed numerous orchid varieties - that rare species of “parasite flower” from the burnt forest. Just one frail, exotic sprout is more valuable than a burnt-out field of common wood titans.
