At the Bar by Lilya Gerasimchuk

Finally the week was over,
and it was legal to go to some place. Adrey likes to spend Friday evening in her favorite Delilah's alone. She prefers to have a drink or two and not to be a listener of someone's problems,  but to think on her own ones. The only person she likes to talk to is the bartender. Audrey was too beautiful to spend the Friday evening alone,  however,  all the old bar visitors knew that there is no point to disturb her, you won't attract her attention no matter how charming you are. However,it was the first time Carlos came to this bar, and he didn't know about the bar's visitors and traditions. It was actually his first day in the US,  and he just wanted to find some new friends.
'Hey! What's up? ', said Carlos to Audrey.
'Hey.  Haven't seen you before here,  and your unusual accent makes me feel that you are not local here.  Where are you from? '
'Haha, you are very attentive,  I see. I am from Spain. Carlos,  by the way.'
'Yes, but I won't be so after the first cocktail.  I'm Audrey,  nice to meet you. However,  usually Friday is not the day I spend with friends. I will make you an exception as for such a cutie. '
'Oh,  thanks,  Audrey. Actually,  this bar is the closest to my apartment, so it seems that I will be a frequent guest here. '
'I already am. I come here every Friday, my house is not so far from here too. What is your purpose to come to Chicago? You doesn't look like a tourist. '
'You're right. I was promoted, and got a job in our Chicago department. It's a kind of chance to start a new life and to forget the previous failures. '
'Yes,  sounds like a plan. It's not bad in Chicago, I have been living here no more than 10 years,  and I am still not tired from it.'
'I am really lucky about meeting you. You're my first friend here. You know,  I am getting drunk really fast, and now,  after my first drink,  I already feel dizzy.'
'Haha,  these European people. Wait until I finish my Cosmopolitan,  and let's get out of here. You've already spoiled my lonely Friday evening.'
'Oh, really sorry about it, I didn't mean that. '
'Don't be stupid,  that's a joke. I feel like it's my duty to show you the city in all the beauty. See,  after a few drinks even I become a poet' .
'Sounds like a plan. And I become your first fan. '
