Supportive arms by Nika Vlasova

In our class we had a wearing awful glasses boy Ed.

His glasses were so monstrous that he wasn`t able to do physical exercises. And little Ed, he`d have to get up and go sit on the floor in the corner and watch how we do sport. I liked him, he was handsome. But his glasses frightened me, that is why I have never talked to him.
In our class we had a pretty girl Ella. Ella had big blue eyes and unreal complexion (what is important for girls at school). Honestly she was the most beautiful girl at our class and all boys fancied her, except for this guy Ed. Also a great smile of our teachers get on their faces every time they saw her, because Ella was clever (or cunning?).
When Ella were 16 years old her family get into an accident. She stayed alive, but Ella couldn`t walk since there. Her fans were unable support her, except for this guy Ed. He comes in her world and put a supportive arm around her, small funny boy with awful glasses.
At the age of 30 at the marathon at the finish line I saw a guy with glasses like Coke bottles and beautiful disable girl near him. That were Ella with good complexion and handsome Ed. She was in a wheelchair and he wore glasses with one lens blacked out. It was a sacred union between two people, which has no equal in all the world.
At the age of 35 I read a story about cute girl in a wheelchair that started to walk again. That was a wonder? Also there was information that she left her husband because of his glaucoma. It was an article about Ed and Ella. She started new life with a banker. And he stayed alone without supportive arms, because he gave all his support to her. I remember a moment when Ed sat at the corner and watch how we do sport. If we will compare sport and life, we will found that they have a similar script. Small Eddy still sat, still look and still understand that once someone will need his supportive arms.
