with a history that lasts more then several centuries. This square witnessed fires, floods and wars – no sign of such things can be seen now, but you can feel it as a part of the atmosphere that surounds this great place.
The first thing we see is a road crowded with people – some of them work around here, others – study, some more were just passing by and some are the tourists who came to experience one of the remnants of this city's history and culture. There are also plenty of cars but they are no more then just an addition to those people's descriptions. Right after street two- and three-flour buildings, painted in different coloures, are situated. That buildings are made in old architectural styles, but look quite new from a distance, which can make us wonder: had they been taken good care of or were they built not long time ago but with the great respect to the old tradition? Same question can be asked about more distant buildings, that appear higher, but not much. At first it may not seem possible at all, but modern life manages to co-exist equally with the life, that's gone long ago. The hills behind the square are full of buildings as well, but those buildings do not seem worthy of mentioning as they catch our attention much less then a great church on one of the hills. It looks so great and gorgeous, that appears to be some sort of a keeper for the square as well as for everyone who walks through it. And just as the buildings, we noticed before, it seem to say: “The history of this place is not forgotten. It lives still and will probably surpass all this people, walking around”.
