Leo and Jill by Maria Bogdanova

(Sequel to the `The one who doesn`t deserve)
It`s been a year since Jill left her husband and two children. She missed them every night, she wanted to call, but she knew it was a bad idea.
She still didn`t want to return home to boring predictable life of housewife. With Leo in Los Angeles she understood what being alive means. Everything was perfect until money finished. Then she came to know that Leo was a thief specializing in jewelries. She became his assistant. They were cleaning out the houses of well-off people. And one day the burglary went not the way they planned.
Jill: We need to return to that house. What if he`s dead? What if I killed him?
Leo: You knocked him by statuette, it`s not mortally. He conked, but he`ll be alright.
Jill (dubiously): You think so? I saw the blood on his head. And I`m not sure whether he was breathing.
Leo: Jill, you were protecting me. If not you, he would have shot me. And I checked him, he was breathing. Very soon his servants will come and will take care about him.
Jill: No, I`ll call the ambulance!
Leo: You won`t do this! We need to get rid from ices; I have one trusted fence with whom I arranged about sale. We have no money, Jill! Don`t you like to go in fashionable restaurants and live in chic apartments?
Jill: Are you saying that I waste most of the earned money?
Leo: I`m saying that if you call the ambulance we`re done. You can go back to your husband and kids.
Jill fell silent. For one moment she recurred to her family. Constant cooking, cleaning, ironing. Boring sex with Simon. Children go into hysteric every day. Dull life, devoid of colors.
Jill: From where do you know that fence? Do we really trust him?
Leo: That`s a long story, babe. Ready to listen?
