My name is Imhotep. I want to tell you my story, because you need to know how cruel and unjustly
people can be.
You may not believe my words, but I should tell you that everything what I’ll say is true.
In ancient time I was powerful and respected magician in Egyptian Empire. Pharaoh Seti I gave me
everything what I wanted and I served him with all my strength and mind. One day in the castle came beautiful woman. Her name was Anck Su Namun. New feeling embraced me. It was something new,
something that gave me a reason, new vision of life. I realized that love makes person more powerful
than every magic power in the world. I couldn’t stand these feeling and, as I found out that she had the same feeling to me, there were no words to describe my happiness.
But our love was forbidden. She was the woman who belonged only to Pharaoh. When he find out
about my relationship with Anck Su Namun, he ordered soldiers to punish us. She should have been
killed and I was buried alive with a curse for eternal life. But exactly this decision was a mistake.
Very long time I spent under the ground. My flesh rotted, bones dried, heart hurt and the picture of
Anck Su Namun’s death stand for my eyes. Her last words were: “Only you can bring me back to life”. So my goal was to break the chains of my prison in order to bring my only love back to life. I’ve waited and waited for a convenient case to get my revenge.
Once someone disturbed my grave and broke protection spell. I was set free. At last! Very quickly
I’ve returned my powers and body back. The cost of it was lives of that people, who disturbed my
prison. Three annoying persons got in my way of bringing Anck Su Namun back to life. They’ve created a lot of problems, but I managed to come to the ancient Egyptian temple, where the soul of my love was. I’ve conducted ritual of returning dead people back to life. Finally, Anck Su Namun has returned to me. I thought that we can find our happiness now in this world, in this time. I’ve imagined our everyday life together, how happy and in love we would be. But at the next moment these three people have ruined all my dreams and expectations. My dearest love, my only woman in life was killed again. I was so mad that anger has blinded my eyes. My only desire now was to kill the people who ruined my happiness again but I’ve failed. They’ve sent me in darker world, where my soul was doomed to live forever.And now, what do I have now? Nothing. They’ve taken everything from me: my love, my life, my power.
Why did they do this? Strangers to me, people who I’ve seen first time in my life, destroy everything
what I’ve lived for. I just wanted to be together with my sun, my love, my life - my Anck Su Namun. And now I’m alone in the hell, in the world of broken dreams without her and no hope for life full of love.
