Look at her Mother by Victoria Tryzlo

Jane Dow: Hello, my name is Jane Dow and you are watching “Unbelievable”.

With me today is little genius Kitty Smith, who can speak three languages, and her mother Lauren. Hello, Kitty and Lauren!
(applause)
Kitty: Hi.
Lauren: Hello, Jane.
J: So, why don't you tell us a bit about yourself, Kitty?
K: My name is Kitty and...
L: They already know your name, sweetie. Go on.
K: Well, ok... Um, I'm eleven years old and...
L: And she likes to draw, collect dolls and learn languages! Mostly learning languages! (laughs with excitement). She can speak Italian, French and German fluently. Currently we're learning Spanish.
(applause)
J: That's great! So, tell me, Kitty, how did you manage to learn all those languages at such a young age?
K: I...
L: Well, we started when she was four. I can speak Italian myself, so I started teaching her. She didn't waste her time with toys. She just really liked to learn. When she was done with Italian (it took two years) I hired French and German teachers for her.
J: Wow, that's incredible. Did Kitty have any time for school?
K: No, I didn't. (looks at her mother)
L: She didn't, no. She is homeschooled.
J: Well, doesn't it feel lonely sometimes?
L: I don't think it...
K: (Stands up) It does!
(silent pause)
J: Ok, and now we're going to watch a video where Kitty recites a poem in Italian!
(applause)
