He was an ordinary boy until
a terrible thing happened to him. He got into a car accident. The brain and the spine was damaged and this changed his life forever. He doesn't work anywhere because he isn't able to do so. He speaks with a great difficulty and walks in an unusual way. He lives with his mother who supports him and gives him money. Sometimes he can be found with an ice cream in his hand because he loves eating something sweet. He walks slowly, he is never in a hurry because he probably has no place where he is waited for but his home. It has been more than ten years since the terrible accident. And now he usually spends his time outside on a bus stop. Just standing there and watching as cars go by. On a bus stop, when he doesn't notice anybody familiar he looks sad and disinterested. But once somebody known to him passes by, he energetically waves his hand and greets the person with a smile on his face. In case he is not in the mood he simply nods his head. But still he greets the person. And the person of course greets him too. That is, his "occupation" is greeting people. It's hard to say for sure but due to the fact that he greets almost everyone, it seems that everybody in the neighborhood knows him and knows his story. Usually you can see him accidentally a couple of times every month. Each time on some local bus stop. It's impossible not to be fascinated how kind andfriendly he is to people. Turns out, people in general have a lot of empathy and willingness to accept the unfortunate. It seems that greeting everybody has become a part of his lifestyle because that's what he always is found doing. Also you can suppose that every time he is on a bus station he just lovely and expectantly waits for his mother to come from work. And it is just happens that familiar people pass by and it would be rude not to say hello. So that's his map of meaning: home, mother, bus station and greeting people. Nothing more. You may only wonder how he manages to accept his empty destiny and the fact that he can't be recognized among his peers - primarily because he has none, and will have none. His life will remain the same, nothing new until the end of it. Nonetheless he seems to be optimistic and extremely open to people. He is willing to speak about anything. He rarely starts a conversation himself, but he usually supports a dialog you begin. Although age is probably 25, he is as friendly and as cheerful as a child.
