“I think I am pregnant”

“You are not serious right now, are you?”
“Yes I am. I found it out only today in the morning. You are the first one to know” she saw him staring mindlessly at the wall, ”What is wrong? You are going to be a father, aren’t you happy?”
He scratched his head and was silent for a minute.
“Don’t you understand that this is serious? Do you even see all the consequences? Do you pretend to be ignorant? How do you expect to be a mother in 16 years old? What about you career, your education? These are the things that are very important for your future. But being a mother at your age won’t let you have time for that”
“I don’t mind not having a degree or successful career!” she said kindly and embraced him tightly with her arms “I am sure we would make a good family together”
But he stayed detached and walked up to the window, turning away and hiding hisface from her.
“Suppose we get married. But what about my wife? You perfectly know that I am not going to divorce. No matter how much we are emotionally isolated with her, the divorce will take away half of my property, my car, my business and will force me to see my children at most once a month. No. I am sorry to tell you but this secret affair hasgone too far”
“So that's how you love me?” she started to sob in despair “You're horrible!”
“Honey, I am just telling you the truth”
“I hate you!”
“Sorry”
“You men are pigs!”
Her weeping made him realize what pain he made her suffer. Finally she wiped her tears and said:“To be honest, I am not pregnant. I was just checking for your reaction. And now that I know who you really are, it's over. This is the last time we see each other. I regret Ihave lost three months of my youth with you! I could have been with someone better and more reliable than you!“
“But honey, I love you! Forget what I told you, lets stay together”
“Go to hell, never call me!”
