November Weather and Its Consequences by Zakhar Manukhov

Jack left the house and set off briskly toward
the bus stop. He nervously groped for the mobile in his pocket and looked at the time - it was 11:30, the meeting had to start in only 30 minutes, and it was quite far from home. Jack crossed the road, went out to the park and looked at the trees - the leaves turned yellow, but they didn’t start to frown. It was November. Jack looked up at the sky and paid attention to the clouds: gray-white spots was slowly floating on a pale blue background. They seemed to be in no hurry, these fluffy lambs were peacefully grazing on the blue lawn. The man stopped and looked at the sky. At that moment he forgot about his meeting, about the man who will wait for him, about the opportunity that he could lose... The man looked at the constructions, illuminated with pale golden sunlight. Static high-rise buildings was remaining calm. A flock of crows flew along the roofs, breaking the concrete harmony. But at that moment even harmful birds seemed to Jack the most peaceful creatures on the Earth. The world was saying to him: "Calm down, it's all right”. Jack was standing on the street for a minute or two. The world was speaking to him. The faded sun, the endless gray-blue sky and the street, which had fallen the grayish dust of autumn, inspired him with peace. He exhaled and thought: "I can handle everything”.
