Casander by Kseniia Rybak

On the day of her death
Casander did not think about anything except how much she loved her husband. She could not rejoice at how he was playing with their little daughter Suzy who was whith him like two peas in a pot. This year they were incredibly happy and it seemed to her that it would last forever. Casandra had the life of a typical housewife of a typical suburb, where everyone knew everything about each other, and the smallest thing immediately became known to everyone around. Casandra did not stand out and behaved in accordance with all the rules of the suburbs. But this evening it all lost its value.
-Let's get ready now! Will you go with us?- Casandra asked her husband, going down the stairs.
- Go today without me, I'm tired. - Kevin answered and kissed Suzy.
-Than see you later. I love you!
-I love both of you!
They left the house and got into the car. The sound of the engine always reminded her about how still a very little father drove her to the cottage on an old grandfather`s car. It had a huge cab, where they transported maize which they planted on their farm. Its smell was the smell of her childhood, the smell of adventures andnative spaces. They left home and drove through the forest. These places were worth not living in the city.
That was the very night that Stanley and Laura had car crashed into the Casandra`s car so that her it got into ditch. The last thing Casander thought, lying on a bloody helmet, with a terrible pain in her head felling it slowly disappeared, was how her Kevin endure her death, but she could not even imagine how.
