to be my wedded Husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love, cherish, and to obey, till death us do part, according to God's holy ordinance; and thereto I give thee my troth.”
A few minutes later Jenny was touching her wedding ring on the finger “And that's it? We are married?” thought Jenny like nothing special has happened. "So now I'm supposed to be happy?" She looked at her parents and saw the tears of happiness falling from their cheeks. She took a glance at her friends which were sincerely happy for her and... felt nothing.

From the early childhood Jenny was a slightly closed girl. Talkativeness wasn’t her main trait. She wasn't the worst in class at the school and wasn't the best. She always had a couple of friends to talk and play – not too much, not a few. Jenny wasn't tall, or small, or fat, or skinny. She wasn't stupid and in the same time Jenny wasn’t the nerd. She was just usual. Only one special feature was making Jenny's life different from others. She had never fell in love. Neither in childhood, when all girls had their first crush. Neither in university, where her friends were trying to make their adult relationships. When someone was telling her about “that special feeling” – she just didn’t know what they were talking about and how to discover it. Sometimes, in the moments of enjoying the beauty of the sunset near the sea, or the smell of the croissants and coffee in Sunday morning, she guessed, that love should felt like this and wondered how it really looks like.
Anyway, Jenny was quiet satisfied with her life. After university she found a job, which was totally met her needing. Her lovely flat was decorated in a pastel colors and was pretty good for living alone. She tried to enjoy her life as it was.
How did Jenny meet Mike? He was Jenny’s colleague. They met at the first Jenny’s day at work. After few weeks of cute meetings, going out for coffee and having lunch together, Mike and Jenny became friends. After few month Mike told her, that he totally felt in love, which was shocking for Jenny. Obviously, she liked to spend time with him, but she couldn’t consider this as “feelings”. Some thoughts made Jenny believe, that she could become happier with Mike and she decided to give a chance to these relationships. “Maybe fillings would come later” was on Jenny’s mind. In a year, when Mike made a preposition, Jenny still wasn’t in love. “Maybe, I’m not able to feel love at all,” was Jenny’s conclusion. “Mike is sweet, and funny, he is a good person. I fell totally comfy with him. I should stay with Mike,” she thought. So, that how Jenny took a decision to become a Mikes wife.

After wedding ceremony was celebration where both of families gathered to make a memory of this very special day. Jenny was trying to relax, but in fact she was just tired. Her only desire was to get home, wear pajamas, go to bed and watch movies.
"I leave you're for ten minutes, I need to fix my make up," Jenny said to Mike.
"Yes, of course honey. Take your time," Mike replied.
In the red corridor, where Jenny was searching for a lady room, she could hear the sounds of celebration. She didn’t notice the men, who was standing near the window, so she accidently bumped into him.
“Oh, I’m so sorry!” Jenny apologized.
“That’s okay, never mind. I guess, today is your ‘happy day’, isn’t it? Your husband should be very lucky,” men smiled with the most generous smile. Strange filing came to Jenny. Suddenly, she felt like they know each other for very long.
“Yes, today is my wedding. Did we ever meet before?”
“No, I guess. I’m working in this hotel as a manager. My name is Fred. And what is the name of the beautiful bride?”
“It’s Jenny. Sorry for asking, but maybe you have a cigarette?”
“Yes, of course. But you can’t smoke here. Let’s go outside, I’ll show you one place, where I like to smoke.
“Oh, it would be wonderful”
Fred took Jenny to the balcony with a gorgeous view. There was no one and it was very quiet place. Jenny and Fred start smoking and both of them didn’t noticed how they begun talking about everything. Jenny was laughing and she totally forgot about her wedding. She felt so warm insight. Thousands of little birds were flying in her tummy. It seemed like two old friends were smoking together like they used to do million times before.
“Oh my Gosh, I need to back to celebration!” Jenny suddenly remembered, “Bye, stranger!” smiled Jenny and started running away.
“Good luck, girl. I hope we will meet again!”
When missing bride had back to the hall, Mike was pretty nervous. And it was a wroth worry, because Jenny finally fell in love at the first time.
