A Detective Story by Sofia Kolbasobskaya

- So who is a Mary’s killer then, hah? – Mike said.

- That’s a stupid discussion at the first place! – Jenney answered.
Mike didn’t think it was a stupid discussion at all. He gathered his dearest friends in his dearest room for this very not stupid discussion.
- She was our classmate, Jen, that’s sucks – Karin interrupted. Her long hair was mixed up today. She took of her glasses. – What if it was you?
Jenney jumped furiously, scowl on her pretty face.
- Girls, that’s not even a point, bruh – Jim marked out, lazily.
- Yeah, let’s go back to theories stuff! – Mike waved enthusiastically. His bang already been wet from the hot.
- That’s not a point I enjoy either, - Jim shrugged. Mary girl wasn’t his friend or something, thinking about her death circumstances would only lead to more trouble. Trouble in the hot air.
- Common guys, don’t you think we should do things? Isn’t it a moment for things? – Mike is bubble that would burst soon, leaving everywhere his wet bangs and electrifying energy.
- Police will take care, we know too little for things, - Karin said.
- I heard her throat was cut violently, she stained that whole classroom! – Jenney bit her lips.
- Totally and her suspicious friendship with Gram from that strange school!
- Creepy weirdo!
Jim rolled his eyes lazily with a sigh. Nobody listened to him.

Mrs. Rogers was coming home from her work earlier. Her shift in the hospital was boring today, but she didn’t mind boring through. The sky was like a milk. Nice feeling of having an extra time was filling the woman’s chest. Extra time for anything, maybe she would bake.
Mrs. Rogers opened the door of her house.
-I am home, darling!
Mrs. Rogers had a son. A very nice boy obviously. Mrs. Rogers wouldn’t agree on another kind of events. She needed to say hello to her boy properly. As she walked up the stairs, she heard the loud sounds – some conversation was going on. Mrs. Rogers opened the door of the son’s room. Her Mike sat in the center, on the fluffy carpet. His eyes were a little bit wide but he wasn’t taken by surprise.
-Darling, who are you speaking to? Heard some noise in hear, - Mrs. Rogers examined an empty room. Only her son was there. The red light of the sunset was dancing wildly in the corners.
-Mike, baby, did you take your pills today?
