Stop. Rewind by Marina Zadorozhna

"I urgently need to get out of here,"
this thought slowly ate her mind, not giving access to constructive thoughts of escape. Once she firmly clung teddy bear to her heart during a disturbing dream, now it was a double-barrelled weapon with one single cartridge, which had soon to find a haven in ‘his’ head.
She carefully peered around the corner with a mirror in her hands to discreetly open a review of what was happening on the staircase, but she did not see the desired display. There was deathly silence, not a single rustle disturbed the peace of this godforsaken castle. This appeasement swallowed everything, but not her desperate wish for revenge, which absorbed and throbbed in her ears, ringing. Taking a sip of courage, she got up from her knees and was about to head to another room, when suddenly she felt the cold gun barrel attached to her nape.
"I urgently need to get out of here, but in other way’ she whispered holding a small device, which in these times could foreshadow any outcome of events after the fateful decision you made.
And this result did not satisfy her, so she continued to select options until she could find the very one - the last bullet in ‘his’ head.
